Planning a Balcony Solar Package for Your Market

Balcony solar looks simple from the outside, but a good distributor package depends on the details: mechanical fit, electrical matching, user instructions and the rules of the destination market.

Define the use case first

Clarify where the system will be installed and who will install it. A balcony railing, terrace, temporary site and lightweight roof can require different modules, mounting parts and cable lengths.

1. Target market

2. Required output

Choose the desired system output and confirm how many PV modules will be used. Match the module datasheet to the selected inverter rather than relying on nominal watts alone.

3. Mounting surface

Collect railing dimensions, available area, wind exposure and any load restrictions. Flexible modules can help where low weight matters, but the mounting method still needs project-specific review.

4. Cable and connector layout

Define cable lengths, connector interfaces, routing and the intended AC connection point before production. A simple diagram prevents missing accessories and installation confusion.

5. Monitoring experience

6. Packaging and documentation

Confirm label language, carton contents, manuals, installation diagrams and distributor branding requirements. OEM and ODM details should be agreed before sampling.
